Visiting the Grand Minister, Sizhōu, and the generals—twenty-five or six writings, all excellent. Sizhōu regards it as a recovery; such joy may be spoken of. My kin are all well, the great servant has returned to Wu; I hope we may meet again.

Commentary:
The backgrounds in this work keep shifting, yet the written text remains constant—an ongoing journey of original intent preserved. This piece was rejected by a major exhibition in 2009, as the jurors claimed it was “photography,” exceeding the bounds of experimental calligraphy.

適太常、司州，領軍諸人廿五、六書皆佳。司州以為平復，此慶慶可言。餘親親皆佳，大奴以還吳也，冀或見之。
