Calligrapher’s note:

How can calligraphers like Wang Xizhi and Wang Duo, and painter Jackson Pollock, capture the essence of writing through their art? By incorporating the rhythmic elements jazz and rock like music into their calligraphy, it makes me to consider how to express the inherent energy of the characters through unique writing styles... With its modern, dynamic brushstrokes and elegant, flowing calligraphy. This work presents a challenge not to the artist, but to the viewer.

羲之、覺斯與帕洛克，何以能在書寫的行動中予以把捉？將爵士、搖滾的節奏性嘗試運用在書作中，這就要求書寫者必須思考如何將文字中的內在能量經由別樣的書寫姿態表達出來...。在既有飛濺筆墨的現代性部署，又有典雅書風的行草識語之間，構成挑戰的或許不是書寫者，而是觀者。
